Who Are We?

LA Emergency Management Department

The city agency responsible for the coordination of disaster response within the City of Los Angeles. LAEMD provides personnel to coordinate, facilitate, and support the Business Operations Center (BOC). These individuals also advocate for the Council within the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).  Learn more about LAEMD.

Pacific Battleship Center

PBC is the 501(c)(3) non-profit organization responsible for the Collective. The organization provides administrative support, organizes donations, facilitates the Councils efforts, and ensures alignment with the memorandum of understanding (MOU) between PBC and the City of Los Angeles Emergency Management Department.  Learn more about PBC.

Why LADRRC Exists

Disasters can strike at any time, and recovery requires strong coordination between businesses, nonprofits, and government agencies. LADRRC was created to bridge the gaps, ensuring resources are distributed effectively, relationships are built before crises happen, and recovery efforts are streamlinedfunctioning as the Business Operations Center (BOC) for the LA Emergency Management Department (LAEMD).
